McKay Education Building Renovation

From Pandemic Constraints to Campus Gold Standard.

Project Overview

The McKay Education Building remodel was planned mid-pandemic, well before my tenure at Weber State. Upon joining the project, I led a strategic pivot to a Crestron-first ecosystem. This allowed us to standardize control system programs. By standardizing the logic, I kept 90% of the code consistent across the entire building—including two NVX-driven active learning labs and 16 classrooms—we achieved 90% code parity. The end result if a seamless,uniform experience for both the end-user, programmer, and service techs.
